We Mods have discussed all of the suggestions and, based on your fantastic amount of feedback, here's a loose outline of what's in the future for yuletart.

So please stay tuned! The holiday fanart exchange may be over, but we will be keeping the LJ comm yuletart open during the year for announcements and further information regarding keeping our fanart community interactive and friendly.

And I stress - of course, we Mods can only set up the infrastructure. The rest will be up to you.

Than you again! And a special last thank you to kittehkat - it was pointed out to us that this lovely fanartist took the time to comment on everyone's fanart. Now that is love and dedication. Yuletart doesn't give out awards (perhaps we should?), but I'm willing to make one exception.

As of today, the first annual Yuletart Holiday Exchange sign-ups are open! Sign-ups will run from October 1-31, 2007. We will not accept applications after 12 AM November 1, Pacific Time.

If you haven't already, you'll want to review the Yuletart FAQ, here. It's short and sweet, but has most of the information you'll need to know what the exchange is all about and what you're getting into!

Ready to sign up? Of course you are! It's super-easy. Just follow the directions below.

1. COPY AND PASTE the following form into an e-mail and fill out your details:

   At least 5 fandoms you want to get art of the most:
   Any other fandoms you would be willing to give art of:
   What is the highest rating of art you would like to get?

   Specific requests (Artists are NOT required to use these!):
   Do you understand that by submitting this e-mail, you are agreeing to complete and and submit your assigned art by midnight on December 31, 2007?
   Would you be willing to pinch hit?
   If so, for which fandoms?


2. Put 2007 Yuletart Application in your e-mail subjectline.


3. Send the e-mail to yuletart [at] gmail.com.


4. Wait for your assignment to be mailed to you sometime in the first week of November.
