Smores! OH, this is so snuggly! It reminds me of the very best picture books, it's done in such a thorough and color-rich style. You took a lot of dull, boring colors (lots of blacks and browns thanks to nature and uniforms)and made them vibrant and varied and just a beautiful mix. The fire is particularly stunning.

Thank you. I'm so glad to hear the colors work for you. This was the first time I tried to paint a campfire, so it wasn't easy for me, and I felt quite apprehensive about the effects.
