Artist notes: I really love both these characters. Like, really. And I extremely love this fandom, even though I've never considered doing fanart for it before. So seeing kasche's request for it, I completely bugged out. I loved the chance to draw them...but that also meant the chance of them looking retarded because of me. lol, so I drew a few character sketches before actually trying to make a decent picture.
Summary: I thought about doing a Christmas thing, but declined, since my original sketch looked horrible. I thought about what it said about the two characters in question, that it was implied that they were 'twinners', a Stephen King term for people who are identical in different points in time. I liked that idea, so I ran with it. I decided to keep Cuthbert in pencil and uncolored to create a contrast between the present ka-mai and the past one. (I love Cuthbert's expression, lol.)

Artist notes: kasche also mentioned a Cuthbert/Alain themed picture would make her happy, so I tried a few things out but none of them seemed to work except for this one.
Summary: I imagined them on a night watch together in Mejis falling asleep, lol. This is really just a sketch; you can see my blue colored pencil marks from the skeleton before I penned it in.
