Artist notes:First time using a Bamboo so the style varies erratically, sorry about that. Wellington had a ton and a half of fandoms listed but I really liked the idea of Tony DiNozzo and Peter Venkman meeting - I think they'd end up friends so long as they knew that they would rarely be in the same city :) Gibbs would be horrified.

Haha. I love the speech-bubble-o-common-ground. And the gratuitous female figure in it. The Shakespeare quotes really round it out and finish everything with class.

Hello again! Oh my gosh, this is so great! It just makes me smile. I can't even... that Palmer's replacement is a Gremlin... I don't even understand why it's so fitting...haha, and he's even wearing the glasses! And then the working scuffle is adorable.

But.. whoa... DiNozzo and Venkman. Together. It's like... it just feels so profound. It feels like...meeting your counterpart from a different dimension. Those two...I can't believe I never even thought of it before, it's so perfect! :D It makes me happy. And they are SO happy to be working together (for short periods of time like you said). I really like the GhostBusters patch on Peter's arm. And that shared speech bubble is genius. They have so much in common, it's ridiculous!

The Shakespeare actually really ties the whole thing together really well.

I'm so glad that this made you smile, and that you liked the idea of Peter and Tony as friends. As soon as I read through your list the thought of them together leapt out at me, closely followed by the mayhem they would cause by even being in the same city, let alone the same room :)
I'm sorry that the execution is pretty poor, I'm pleased with parts of it and cringe at other parts and I didn't realise how much would be lost by the downsizing - I really have to learn to use darker pencils and translate that to the Bamboo (I like to draw with 6H, which doesn't scan at all).
I enjoyed doing this, and I have a much better idea of how I'll work next year, and I'll practise more which will also be fun, I hope!

Aw, don't worry, the execution is fine, though I hear you about scanning pencils. Half my sketches stay in my sketchbook and off my gallery because they look awful scanned and it's so much work to fix them up on the computer sometimes. And yet I'm always afraid to go over them darker because I feel like I'll mess up or lose the quality of the subtler lines.

Anyway, thank you so much again! Yay, practice is just what the new year calls for (I'm just getting back into art myself, so I need a ton of it). Good luck and happy 2011!
