Awww, this is adorable! :D I love the layers ... the sweet cuddling picture, and the implied distance and melancholy that goes with the way she seems to be randomly picking it up out of a pile of less personal items (calendar, newspaper) ... also, the AA meeting bit is a good personal touch. The whole thing is very Renee. :) (Also, Regina Spektor! ♥)

I love how there's a calendar down there on the bottom. It feels like a very busy desk, and then there's this moment of calm among the hustle and bustle.

I love the different layers on this and what they all mean. The little messages we can see on the calendar for the 26th and the 29th, then with those articles. As others have said, it looks like a precious moment taken out of a busy life to contemplate something cherished. =)

I like the subtlety. From the shading to the sparseness of the style - the calendar notes give it just that much *more* intrigue. I like how *peaceful* the two in the photograph are, and the juxtaposition with the newspaper and the calendar in the background (love the "snap" of the Bat signal in the paper).

Very much a melancholy, yet hopeful, tone overall.
