I like the subtlety. From the shading to the sparseness of the style - the calendar notes give it just that much *more* intrigue. I like how *peaceful* the two in the photograph are, and the juxtaposition with the newspaper and the calendar in the background (love the "snap" of the Bat signal in the paper).

Very much a melancholy, yet hopeful, tone overall.
