Important Dates

September 20 - October 10: Sign-ups. We will not accept applications after October 11 midnight (12:00 AM), Pacific Time. After you sign up, you will receive a validation email from the Yuletart Mods to ensure your email address is correct and operational. You must respond to this email by October 14.
October 11: Any remaining validation emails will be sent by the end of the day.
October 13: Deadline for replying to your validation email. If you do not reply to your validation email before the end of the day, you risk not being included in the fest. Once we receive your reply, we will comment here to your sign-up form letting you know you have been confirmed.
October 20: Assignments handed out no later than this date.

FAQ

Important Points About Signing Up

• The Set List has now been created. Please specify what your preference is for any umbrella fandoms that have many sub-categories. This will help your gift-giver know what to draw for you.

  Star Trek (The Next Generation and Deep Space 9)

  Marvel Comics (Iron Man movie, Runaways, Generation-X, Wolverine and the X-Men cartoon)
  
  Example 3:
  Music RPF (The Beatles, U2)


• For ALL fandoms, please spell out the fandom name rather than using acronyms! THIS INCLUDES BAND NAMES.


• Additionally, remember that the more information you can give in your "special requests" section, the better. This is where you would designate specific characters, ships, etc. More info helps us make more appropriate assignments.


• Remember that Yuletart is about the joy of creating art together, not about who is "best" or "most perfect." You should not only be able to put forth your very best effort, but be able to appreciate the effort of others regardless of their level of skill. We know that "effort" is a very subjective concept, so for our purposes we're defining it as an art or craft that has gone through at least one rough draft, gotten objective advice from a third party, and then edited into a final, more polished work. (Note: Mom and Dad probably aren't going to be objective about your art. If you can't find an objective beta, try artbeta. The artists there are patient, generous and willing to work with all skill levels. You can even ask for one-on-one help via email.)

Please read the guidelines above BEFORE you submit your form, EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN IN THE FEST BEFORE! Many of you are using acronyms, we need you to spell names out. This not only keeps requests clear, it helps us do page searches when it comes time to make matches.

What is the highest rating of art you would like to get? Whatever fits. I'm easy.
Specific requests: I'll be happy with whatever makes my artist happy! Holiday/Winter themes are cool or whatever tickles your fancy.
Due South -> RayK, Dief, and Fraser are my favorites. I love the three of them spending time, happy together.
Dragon Age: Origins -> The male Warden Cousland and Zevran are my favorite, but the world and the monsters are so beautiful, that anything would be awesome.
Stargate -> Cameron and Daniel are my OTP, but I also really enjoy Vala and Teal'c, so shippy or team gen would both be awesome.
Supernatural -> So I'm an equal opportunity Winchester gal, but I also love the idea of Supernatural everywhere we go. The idea of a hunt on my college campus (OK-State) would give me a thrill.
NFL/NCAA -> So Jordan Shipley (Bengals and Longhorns) and Colt McCoy (Browns and Longhorns) are my favorite athletes. These guys are so cute together and there are tons of pics from their college days, and their first couple of rookie games.
