Artist's Notes: I suck at backgrounds. I am very sorry. Also,I had planned to draw the Time-train crashed in the background, but that ended up being harder than it sounded, so you're just going to have to imagine it, lying smoking just outside the frame. Maybe crashed into a stegosaurus or something.
Summary: What should have been a routine jaunt through time (perhaps to retrieve a gift for dear Clara?) ends in disaster. Marty is inappropriately amused. I tried to get in a few nods to some of the other listings on the request for this one.

This looks like an illustration from a much-beloved and kooky children's book that hasn't actually been written, hee! I love the expression on the professor's face, the random scene of dino carnage in the back, and the sweet dinosaur who's holding Marty -- the whole thing has such a sense of cartoony brightness and humour, it's fantastic!
