FAQ

By now, everyone should have been emailed their Assignment for Yuletart 2009. Please check your emails! If you did not receive your Assignmment, please contact us (yuletart AT gmail.com).

An important reminder:
[livejournal.com profile] yuletart promotes the joy of giving between fanartists. This includes ensuring that there is love and effort put into each gift. Then we know the recipients will be delighted not only from fanart of their favourite fandoms, but also from the knowledge that a lot of caring was put into making their giftart.

In short, we would like to ensure that you dedicate time and thought to your submission in order to make it a giftart to be valued, enjoyed and appreciated by your giftee.

If you need suggestions in regards to technical aspects of the artwork, we encourage you to join the Livejournal comm [livejournal.com profile] artbeta, where fellow fandom artists will be happy to help you out.

Happy art-making, everyone!

The profile for [livejournal.com profile] artbeta says HP and LotR. Just to clarify, is that ALL there is, or just what it was originally created for and now open to everything, or just what the majority of the art there is (and not really a RULE)? Cause it sounds like an awesome comm.

EDIT: Also, while I'm here, [livejournal.com profile] art_skill_trade is a similar community, although they focus on sharing resources, advice and tutorials, not so much beta-ing.
