Oh, this is SO cool. I absolutely love the colors you used, and I adore the badass poses. Great work!

The one and only time the female gets the less skimpy outfit?

I really really have to comment on the beautiful muscle tone and the way the fabric plays on top of that. It's absolutely stunning, the details so subtle and nitpicky that most people wouldn't bother. I am absolutely in awe.

STEPH!!! I am so happy whenever I see her, especially looking so kickass in her Robin togs! I love the superbright colours here, and the colouring you've done is strong enough to not be overpowered by the primary shades and really lends definition to their bodies. Plus, heh, Jason being a badass and smoking while in his work-clothes -- that's awesome. Perfect little character note. *g* Fantastic work!

Awesome job. It looks like it could be a panel out of a comic book. Plus it's so OLD SCHOOL

*thud* WOW THANK YOU SO MUCH! Yes, I always thought these two should have met. Who cares how, when they look this incredible? The colors and are so saturated and lush, plus the shading and muscle detail is complete and utter win. The sunset fading into the starry sky is beautiful. The two of them look amazing--their hair, skintones, and the body language. And Jason's smoking! I cannot thank you enough, seriously!

Oh, *lovely*. The way you drew the musculature is so *subtle*, and yet it *completely* shows off how badass and awesome they are. They're totally shooting the shit in between beating the hell out of people. *Mmm*

uh, it is totally personal fanon for me that Jason and Stephanie met and got together to fight crime in all kinds of badass ways! yess.

your Steph is glorious. insanely glorious. her hair, his cape, their masks, their TORSOS, just the coiled energy of their bodies. Steph's hand on her belt and Jason flinging the cigarette away makes me imagine that, to quote toonverse Tim, it's 'hero time'. or maybe they've just seen Batman? hee. also love the bright blue evening, the clouds/smog and the STARS. ah, Gotham evenings, bright with lights and... fights. er. well.

I really am stuck on the detail of the smoke from Jason's cig. Nice work all round and woo, what a kickass duo they would have/could have been!

Oh, this is glorious -- their *muscles*, and the colors, and the careless ease in their poses -- they *own* that city, and they know it.

Yummy badass Robins! I love the muscles under the fabric, especially on Steph. I'm mesmerized by their capes.

Beautiful! I like the detail work.

Nawwww! I especially love that Jason's in his old school Robin outfit as they patrol the streets together! AND he's pitching away a smoke OMG I only JUST saw that, ahahah! Looove the colouring, it's so painterly and yet so precise and I find it really cool how you stick to such thin ink lines, but nothing gets muddied because your colours are so vibrant and strong. Their musculature is subtle but amazingly rendered, I love that thick, heavy feel you've given Steph's hair and the sunrise in the sky....I really love everything about this.

And also now I really really want a comic book about these two together in this improbably but really awesome What If? situation! XD XD

This is one of my favorite pieces of Robin art EVER. They're perfect. ♥

I really love how you handled the colors/shading here. Very bright colors and yet dark and dangerous. Very dramatic and hard to look away from.

[identity profile] nokomis305.livejournal.com 2009-01-03 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
This is completely awesome! ♥

[identity profile] sheepfairy.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, this is lovely! I really love the colors you used, they're really bold and stick out. And the musculature under their shirts and on the arms is really impressive.

[identity profile] ani-bester.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 07:50 pm (UTC)(link)
ROBINS! Oh this is so cool and dynamic and THEY MUST BE COLD! In those outfits when it's cold enough to frost one's breath, oh dear *L*

It's really nice, I especially like the vibrant colors which trhough back to old school comics.

(Op it's the two Robins I don't know, but still awesome)
