I don't think I've ever seen such an interesting mix of cell and soft shading before, ever. Somehow, it manages to give the piece a sort of storybook quality, and I just can't stop looking at his skin (such fantastic color choices!) Excellent work :)

Oh, lovely! And I adore that background, something about the colors and the texture just knocks me flat. Beautiful!
ext_872: eye with red flower petals as eyelashes (fry-approved!)

Very nice! I like the effect on the background that makes it look like marble or even cracked glass; plus the juxtaposition of naked face in profile in front of the mask is very cool. Great job!

Holi crap that's awsome! Thanks! :D

Wow, this has the feel of a tissue paper collage. Very well done, I love the textures you've used!

oh, oh. so much to love about this piece: his eyes!!!!, his expression, the composition and the color contrasts, the bright gold and the dark blues, ahhh - and his *hair*, and the textures in the background. wow. just, very, very nice work. ♥

Impressive! Whatever technique you used to do this, it looks amazing.

Very 'clean' and precise, with a wonderful colour range. I particularly like how you've shaded the face. Very powerful :)

The combination of flats and subtle gradient work spectacularly here--you managed to catch the shows sense of style here very well. The helmet is rendered wonderfully! I love the sheen on it. There's also a great sense of quiet attitude with the subtle expression you have on his face, there's a lot of subtle emotion here.

It's so beautiful, I am completely in love with your colour choices and they way you've coloured this. The blues, yellows and browns are all along the warm tones, but there is something so chilling and cool about his face and the way his back is turned to us. Your colouring for the mask is especially fantastic - I love that way of shading that overlaps and adds levels to the shine and cut of the object. Wonderful stuff!

striking, very striking. I like the shading in the skin tones, especially around the eye. It adds something, don't know how to explain it but it really works well.

Lovely

Very nice! The shading and texturing on this is especially nice.
