I wasn't quite sure what I was looking at at first, but after looking at it for a while, I really like it--very good job! The subtle greys in the mask are my favorite :)

This is totally freaking great. The whole sequence thing strikes me as very movie-inspired (which, yeah, obviously works with the subject). Tony's "oh hell yeah" grin is perfect.

This is wonderful... I love the technique you've used!

What an interesting choice of layout for this! Being a comicbook reader myself, I found it really appealing -- the stacked panels, the extreme close-ups of different bits of them, framed and coloured so precisely -- it's intriguing and evocative and stark (SEE WHAT I DID THERE HOMG) and the soft smudgy colours on the iron suit are particularly effective. Fantastic stuff!

heee, you stole the stark pun straight outta my, um, fingers.

what [livejournal.com profile] bossymarmalade said, anon artist! great stuff.

I looked at some graphic novels Iron Man was in for a bit of inspiration. :) Thanks!

It's absolutely lovely! :D

I especially like the contrast between the soft, fluidness of the inks and the sharp precision of the pen. That flowy bit of dark ink in the middle panel keeps grabbing my attention in a very nice way, and as others have mentioned, the shading on the mask has a beautiful sense of delicacy. :}

I'm glad you like it. :) Thank you.

*elaborates*

specifically! I love the triptych structure, the detail and the contrast between each snapshot, and of course the personality inherent in that delicious grin. <33333

The watercolours are so washed and almost dreamlike, but his sharp, arrogant smile in the last panel just brings it all home. I love how the mechanical aspects of Iron Man look more dreamlike that Tony Stark's panel. It's very contrasty!

Oh very very interesting and your ink washes are *love*
