Artist notes: I hadn't even thought of The 10th Kingdom before getting the assignment but the moment I saw 'Wolf' I went "must do!" I had hoped to provide more of his costume (boots and a coat) but this season is kicking my ass. Which reminds me that many, many heartfelt thanks go to the very-patient-indeed mods. This is a combination of knitting with a bit of crochet, embroidery and needle felting. It's worked up in wool yarn, mohair yarn, cotton embroidery thread, leather cord, metal findings, and permanent marker. The belly of the wolf joins with the back of the man. Stuff the body of one into the body of the other, hook up the seam, for your own werewolf transformation whenever you like. Just mind the shepherdesses. (And I may have shorted Wolf, but it was very cold when I took the pictures.) I'd be happy to send

That is just BRILLIANT! Even down to how you photographed it next to a shoebrush hedgehog!! And I cannot believe I am only the second person to comment on the awesome crazy that is his WOOL PENIS. The design is sheer crafty genius, the execution is flawless, and the whole thing is eighteen pounds of fun stuffed into a five-pound wolf skin. You are astounding!!

Wow! This is so ingenious -- *picks jaw from floor'. I can't believe all the details you've managed to incorporate and such a clever construction for the transformation between wolf and man.

Thanks! I had a lot of fun plotting out how to make him and figuring out how to fit it all together. I'm just glad it all worked in the end! XD

Hee! Thanks! Hm, hard to say, maybe 2 weeks of solid knitting? It took a lot longer because I kept starting and stopping, but altogether I think it added up to 2 weeks spread out over more like 6.

Oh. My. God. The sheer awesomeness of this is beyond words. Seriously. OMG, he can even have the tail as a human! XD So fantastic!

And honestly, you have no idea how appropriate this is. I love knitted dolls from my fandoms (not that I have the skills to make them, but I know such brilliant people ^_^). I've got a Luna Lovegood and Death of Rats, and while I hesitate to take something so absolutely amazing from its creator, I would love having this after reveals.

I've added a couple more eyes to the hooks and eyes on his back, so he hooks up more neatly as a man. It makes his chest a little sleeker, too. :)

:D Thanks! I'm very proud of the seamless part, actually. XD There are only 2 seams on him, one to close up the wolf's hind leg holes, and the one to join the man to the wolf. Glad you like him!
