Awww. Thank you so so so much! I'm glad you liked it. :D Also because... you know, I really wasn't sure about the design himself. I'd got a rough idea while I was reading the book, but there's a few more details that go in a drawing ;)

♥♥♥

And that is a really, really good thing to hear :D With the Discworld books it's really hard to leave out the text - in the two fanarts I've done, I've never been able to do it. So... yeah, it's nice. ;) Thank you!

THANK YOU! :D You know, it took me quite some time to decide on a design for him. I kept changing details here and there, in that first pic. ;P And oh! How I love The Colour of Magic! Have you read The Light Fantastic too? There are bits in those that absolutely KILL me :D :D :D

Aw, thank you! :D

Mmmmh, I could picture him with a goatee too... but maybe that would require more attention to his looks from his part? ;) I don't really know, I'm not sure yet on what face to give him, really :D But thank you very much!

Ooh, I like. Subtle yet nicely detailed pencil work. And you actually manage to make Rincewind look pretty.

I figured that too - I figured he's thirty at most in Interesting Times, but that he also grew older since then. They had a different Patrician back then (and isn't it telling that I first typed "a different Vetinari"), after all. I wish we had a proper Discworld timeline to tell us how many years apart the different events are.

Paul Kidby did still draw with a brown, rather than grey beard in The Last Hero, which is Vetinari-Commander Vimes-Captain Carrot era.

Have you read The Light Fantastic too

BUT OF COURSE! I read every single novel based of the Discworld - the French translator being one of the most wonderful translator in the Whole Word. *nods wisely*
My favourite part in Light Fantastic is when Rincewind thinks that the tourist he is with is dead, and his unconscious is starting to get several voices that argue one against the others! PRICELESS.
So far, I think my favourite one is Wyrd Sisters. :DD

Well, I don't know Discworld, really... but this is awesome :D I really like his expression xD

The look of confusion suits Rincewind perfectly!

Hehehe! I pictured it in my mind as soon as I saw it. :D and I'm glad it worked! Thank you! ♥

It WAS a different Patrician, then! :D I remembered noticing it, but I was beginning to doubt I'd been mistaken. Just out of curiosity, do you know in which book he first appears as the Patrician? His wiki page says The Colour of Magic, but... I don't really know. ^^; (Seriously, I'm getting so obsessed with the series it's almost worrying. ;) I'm actually thinking about getting myself the plant of Ankh-Morpork... it was the little map in Night watch that ruined me! I kept going back to check where the streets where all the while! ;D)

And yup, I do agree with the need of a Discworld timeline too. ;)

I can't remember, honestly. Half the time I forget which order the books were published.

I love those books, though, the characters, the detail.
