I really wish I had more time to make it all neater, but I did try to put as much detail as I could. I wasn't sure which characters from Hellboy you liked in particular so I made a general pic with just Hellboy himself, I hope that's okay. :)

Oh, but the messiness WORKS so well for this picture! Gives it kind of a scrobbly wood-block print kind of feeling. All of the paraphernalia hanging around is fascinating, and the candy cane and the kitty -- perfect notes for the character and the cheery feel of the picture! Fabulous stuff!

oh my gosh, this is *wonderful*. please please don't feel bad about the sketchiness, because the whole thing is so bright and colorful and cheery and *so well done* that the sketchiness just contributes to the overall personality of the piece, and of Hellboy and the kitten (KITTEN!!!!!). I've only seen the movie so i don't know these guys at all, but I love all the details and the bright red/green/black and the KITTEN'S FACE OMG and hellboy BONDING WITH KITTEN, and omg stocking, and! I LOVE THIS. BRAVA, BRAVISSIMA.

Everything about this is awesome. The scratchy lines that are so much like a stylistic homage to Mignola, the cocky smirk on Hellboy's face, the substitution of a candy cane for the cigar, the photos, the crucifix, the gun stocking stuffer...it's all so perfectly Hellboy! Dark and yet whimsical and I love that you added such wonderful holiday spirit into it as well. Never stop being an awesome artist! <3 <3 <3
