Oh wow, beautiful! The detail is exquisite! And I'm especially enamored of his boots. A lovely piece!

Yay! Oh, this is lovely! *bounces* I had to dash in and say 'thank you'. Ooo, look at Frederick's sideburns! And his dashing flowing locks! How could anyone resist him? And such a fine, upright figure in his gorgeous coat with all the fabulous buttons. And I'm loving his hat and his boots! His boots! And Anne's face is so sweet, and she looks so quiet and resigned. I love her dress with the simple frills, and her shoes are perfect. And how fabulous is it that he's looking off distant and out to sea and she's just quietly watching him?

And Lyme Regis as the backdrop is gorgeous, I can totally see why they'd want to visit and I love the rocky shore. OMG so many rocks! Just amazing! The textures are so rich and I love how you've tied in all the blue, and how cool and contemplative it is, without being cold. And there's still that sense of movement and tension. LOVE IT TO PIECES. Thank you!

Oh, mystery artist! This isn't for me, but I love it as much as if it was. *sigh* I want to go to Lyme, too. Beautiful piece!

I love how atmospheric this is; you chose exactly the right style and media and everything to get across the characters and the tone. The characters themselves are so detailed and neatly done, and good lord, how much patience did it take for all those beach-pebbles?!?! This is really lovely work!

I love the way you treat watercolor, especially on their clothes and on the beach's stones. <3

Oooh, this is very pretty - I like your use of water colors, especially since it makes it seem very period appropriate.

Very pretty! Lovely colours and poses.

Lovely, and I especially like how you chose to compose them with her skirt moving towards him but not quite overlapping, it's like a symbol of how she's reaching out to him at this point in her life without managing to break through the walls between them yet. And kudos for setting the scene so well!

beautiful! And how I love old fashioned coats :D

Such a wonderful style, such amazing use of color and attention to detail - marvelous, marvelous, made of win.

Squeeeee! It's such an awesome watercolour, that totally needs to be one of the bookplate illustrations in a print of this novel. I love the carefree-ness of the watercolours, that are somehow restricted by the intensity of the characters in this scene. It's quite a wonderful, stunning, contrast.

Also, your painstaking inking of the rocks just...amazes me. Fantastic work, as always!

That is a perfect Captain Wentworth. Beautiful piece!

It looks just like an illustration that could be included with the book--lovely! I really like the freshness of the colors and all of the character that comes through in the line work. :}

So pretty! I love the mood of it and them and the beach is just beautiful. :-)
