Artist notes: This is my first time attempting to do something using nothing but black and I'm pleased with the results. The back fence was inspired by a picture showing a Chinese garden. I would have added something more detailed in the background, but I was running out of time and I didn't trust myself not to ruin the initial piece, so I left it as it was.
Summary: As soon as I saw that you loved "All things En" I automatically knew that I would be doing a piece featuring these two. Out of all the Kings/Queens and Kirins that we see in 12 Kingdoms, they ultimately have the best relationship and I can imagine them just sitting outside in the garden or somewhere else laughing about something trivial. I especially love how short Enki is!

Using just black is a hard thing to do well, and for your first time out doing this, it's really exceptional. I mean, it's great anyway, but WOW, first time. I especially love the background (probably because I'm not familiar with the fandom in question), and keep coming back to it, even though I really enjoy all the details in the characters' clothing. Excellent work!

I really love black & white art, and if this is your first try . . . goodness, that's impressive. :) A lot of people have trouble getting the balance right, but you do a great job. I love all the little patterns, and the character on the left is pretty adorable.

Mannn so much lovely detailing in the inkwork, I love it. The crosshatching on the bannister, the lovely detailing on the kimono and that amazingly constructed background...it all just comes together so well and with such finesse. Great stuff!
