Mission Statement and Reminder
A few points:
1) By now everyone should have their assignments. Sorry for any delays in getting them out; full blame can be placed on
glockgal's head!
2) The Yuletart Mods have felt the need to post a mission statement. Please read it carefully:
3) Finally we want to remind you of our suggestion to make a public post on your LJ to describe any futher additions and preferences you'd like to see in your fanart. If you are a fanartist like me, you probably like to have enough detail to work with, in order to draw something that the receivee will adore. Your Secret Santa might appreciate the same!
Have fun, and good luck,
~Yuletart Mods

Yuletart is a new fest and as such is trying to promote the joy of giving between fanartists. This includes ensuring that there is love and effort put into each and everyone of the gifts. This way, we know the gift receivers will be delighted not only from fanart of their favourite fandoms, but also from the knowledge that a lot of effort and caring was put into making their giftart.
In short, we would like to ensure that you dedicate some time and thought to your submission in order to make it a giftart to be valued, enjoyed and appreciated by your gift receiver.
If you need suggestions in regards to technical aspects of the artwork, we encourage you to join the Livejournal commartbeta, where fellow fandom artists will be happy to help you out.
