HEEEE OH DICK!!! I love the dark shading, it feels VERY Gotham. And Dick just flying in willy nilly and yet his body so compact and controlled, NUM! I think Roy's just holding himself back so he doesn't maul Nightwing with kissies. *HEE*

The pose is just *awesome*, powerful and exuberant at *once*. You can tell that he's having fun *and* that he knows exactly what he's doing. The contrast with Roy's moodiness is really fabulous, as is the sense that things are about to *explode* between the two of them -- in one way or another. Really, really great.
