Your prompt was very obliging that way; I only had to consider my options for a moment before I realised this is Mass Effect, there's bound to be as much tragedy as joy no matter what it is I end up drawing. I'm really glad you liked it! (I'm with you on Kaidan's brooding pose. I would be okay drawing Kaidan brooding all the time. Boy can smolder something intense.)

I love happy endings, so I'm going with that option. Their faces and expressions are great, and also their very expressive hands.

You have to figure that they'll keep finding ways to bring Shepard back no matter how many times he gets offed. And then Kaidan will take him out for a sandwich somewhere again and they'll have loaded conversations about the way a thing goes down, just like old times. Thanks so much!

Aw, the familiarity of Kaidan's hand on Shep's shoulder. Actually, their gestures and body language in the second image are just really rad in general; feels like you can guess at what they're saying just from the way they're holding themselves. (And I also love that brooding Kaidan pose!)
