Summary: The night the Killjoys went to save the Missile Kid, Bob stayed in to manage backup in case things went south. He hadn’t expected things to go as badly as they did, or for him to be the only one left to carry on the name. He had never taken a name when everyone had chosen aliases, preferring his given name. Now he just calls himself “Killjoy”.
Notes: I really hope you enjoy this art, Sabeth. I haven’t let myself fall back into the Killjoys universe in ages, so it was nice being able to do something with it again and to bring Bob into it.

Argh, my heart! Love your backstory; I always thought Bob would just end up going by "Bob", too, but I can totally see him arriving at the "Killjoy" alias like that. And man, the dark circles under his eyes and that utterly forlorn look. :( The combination of the desaturated, dirty background and the neon coloured clothing and random items strewn about really works to set the scene, too.

Thank you so much for this! It's been a while since I immersed myself in the Killjoys 'verse as well, but it's a place I always like to return to, even (perhaps even especially) when it's as bleak as this. <3
