Summary: It's the last glimpse of sunlight, and boy is it sure spectacular.
Notes: Journey itself is moving art, and as inspiring as the game is, it was intimidating creating art for something so spectacular. LaSpliten, I know you said you wanted War Machines, and I did try, but I ended up going for something a little more peaceful and happy. The first time I played through the game, it was this moment which really sucked me into the game emotionally, and while this was a big deviation from my usual cartoony boldly-lined art, I hope it takes you back to one or more journeys you may have shared with someone.

This is so gorgeous. Love the lighting, the warmth and haziness of it, and especially the crisp highlights on the silhouettes in the background. You really captured that quiet, wistful atmosphere of the game. Lovely.

It's so pretty :D I love this part of the game! It looks like the two companions just finished some sand surfing and are taking the time to relax and enjoy the view before moving on. My companions and I frequently stop here, run around and chirp at each other, then move on XD
