Artist's Notes: My first impulse for AtLA was to do something post-series, but I love the dynamic between these two earlier on as well. I thought I could combine them a little; reformation and tear-inducing hugs of forgiveness aside, I can't imagine that there wouldn't be some familial tussling on occasion! I hope you like it. Happy Yuletart, scribbleomania!
Summary: One thing Iroh never managed to do during the series was to convince Zuko to participate in music night.

Oh, this is completely adorable! Fabulous art - the characters are so very expressive, and I love the muted, red-toned color palette. And of course Iroh always gets what he wants. :D

My first reaction to this was pretty much just fkldjsk;fd oh my god, this is completely freaking amazing! I mean, where do I even start? The Zuko-Iroh dynamic is hands-down my favorite part of AtLA, and this comic is just spot on for how their relationship would progress post-series--not to mention completely hilarious! LOL, poor long-suffering Zuko. I also especially love how pleased Iroh is with himself in the last panel.

Plus, the art itself is stunning. I love the dynamic perspectives, the line work, the warm color palette, and the details of the backgrounds.

So, um, in case you couldn't tell, I really, really like this! Thank you so much!

Oh, I'm thrilled that you like it! I was a little nervous; Iroh's a particularly difficult character for me to draw, and I wasn't sure I could really do their relationship justice. I had so much fun playing with them, though, and I've been wanting to do it for ages - thank you for your request!

Hee! I love the composition of last panel! Half of Iroh's smug face in the foreground, and Zuko's stormy discontent as he plays what I can only assume is the dreaded tsungi horn. Nice backgrounds, too!

AHAHAH OH IROH. YOU KNOW ZUKO CAN NEVER DENY YOU ANYTHING NOW. However, we all know Iroh only has his nephew's best interests at heart and this is no exception, omg. Despite all protests, he still ends up playing the tsungi horn, AHAHAH. I loooove that Mai is totally enjoying Aang and Katara's dance, and Iroh's devious smirk at the end. The pacing in this comic is great and I adore your warm-toned colour palette! Everything about this is clever, I can't get enough!
