LOL aww, those are adorable! I laughed at the warning for a Chocobo. XD Cute scene, and the dolls themselves are very cute too.
turlough: large orange flowers in lush green grass (pigs in spaaace!)

Awwww, they're so cute and the staging is refreshingly unusual.

The picnic is great! It's so sunny and happy but the reactions on their faces are so decidedly different. Awesome!

[identity profile] calcitrix.livejournal.com 2010-12-07 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
So cute! I love Rodney's little mouth! And John's hair is adorable.

[identity profile] scribbleomania.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
They're sooo cuuute. Great craftsmanship, too.

[identity profile] mashimero.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
*flails* this is so adorable, thank you mystery artist! I love how spiky John's hair is, and poor Rodney with his worried, crooked frown. And John's little TAC vest! XD
sholio: sun on winter trees (SGA-Game-it's his fault)

[personal profile] sholio 2010-12-08 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, these are adorable! Their little faces, eeee. :D

Aw, cute! I love the second picture, with tall glass between them. Great work!

[identity profile] kaiserkuchen.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 06:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Not only did you make adorable dolls, you built a whole equally adorable story/mini-photoshoot around it! I am so charmed XDD AND ALSO: Random chocobo what whattttt <33

[identity profile] glockgal.livejournal.com 2010-12-08 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
AHAHAH adorable!! What better date with a chocobo than having a picnic with it! I love the expressions on their faces, lolol. McKay and his constant *errrg* face. XD

[identity profile] zephre.livejournal.com 2010-12-09 12:41 am (UTC)(link)

Hee! These are great!

[identity profile] tyhyin.livejournal.com 2010-12-13 11:15 am (UTC)(link)
If you don't mind me asking but what is your icon from?

[identity profile] ria-oaks.livejournal.com 2010-12-13 04:56 pm (UTC)(link)
It's from Due South. :)

[identity profile] tyhyin.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 01:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I must be watching the wrong season or something 'cos I've never seen that ginger guy before. I would watch it more if I did. A uniform can only hold ones attention for so long.
ext_9121: (ella ella eh eh eh)

[identity profile] reflectedeve.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 03:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahaha, this made me giggle so hard. The warning! The dramatic and anticlimactic captions! The adorably simplified but totally recognizable characters! Lovely.

[identity profile] ria-oaks.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 04:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, Ray Kowalski (played by Callum Keith Rennie, who you may know from...a bunch of other crap) appears in the last 2 seasons (s3-4). He's awesome. :) I mean, I love Ray Vecchio to death as well, but Kowalski... yeah. Plus Callum, so pretty. And there's even more slashy subtext between him and Fraser than RayV and Fraser, imo. ;) Anyway yeah, I'm totally in love with this show right now... it's my new old fandom.

[identity profile] tyhyin.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
OMG wasn't he Leoben on BSG!

I shall have to watch out for those seasons 'cos just from your icon the slash looks good. Callum is pretty.

[identity profile] ria-oaks.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 05:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Yup, he was Leoben. :) I just finally watched BSG for the first time, and I kept going "It's Ray! As a Cylon!". And then I'd watch an ep of DS and be all, "Fraser, watch out! He's a Cylon!" lol. Much fun.

But yeah, s3-4 are fun and there are some great (and slashy) eps.

[identity profile] tyhyin.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 05:13 pm (UTC)(link)
'And then I'd watch an ep of DS and be all, "Fraser, watch out! He's a Cylon!"' That made me actually laugh out loud lol.

Those damn sneaky Cylons they infiltrate every institution lol.

Is there much slash for DS?

[identity profile] ria-oaks.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 05:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Hehe yeah, it was fun. ^^ And whenever Leoben was in an ep I'd bring out my RayK plush doll (yeah, I... made DS dolls this fall) so he could "watch his evil alter ego". Good times.

And they do, you can't trust them. :)

Is there much slash for DS? Lol, see, that made me laugh out loud. :) Oooh yeah. It's a remarkably big fandom, plus there are 10-15 years worth of fic to catch up on. On the whole there's more RayK/Fraser than RayV/Fraser, but both pairings have their fans. There was a lot of tension in the fandom when RayK first came on (thankfully, being a new convert, this is all ancient history for me), but DS fandom is now a happy place where all pairings and characters are accepted. :) AO3 has around 2000 fics now, and the Due South Archive (http://www.squidge.org/dsa/) has... a lot. Plus there are lots of LJ communities and challenges still. So yeah. It's big and still quite active for an old show.

[identity profile] tyhyin.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 06:39 pm (UTC)(link)
So what you're saying is yes lol. I love it when there's a lot of fic to cut my teeth on in a new fandom. I think I'm gonna be a RayK/Fraser fan myself. :D.

You just made me a convert dear.

[identity profile] ria-oaks.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 06:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes indeed. :) And hee, fair enough. I prefer Fraser/RayK, too, though I like Fraser/RayV as well (and Ray/Ray, and Fraser/Ray/Ray...). There's a ton of fantastic stuff; I can rec you some if you want for when you're ready... at the least, check out anything by Speranza (http://www.trickster.org/speranza/); she's considered to be one of the best writers in the fandom, and is probably the most well known/most recced. [livejournal.com profile] crack_van's got lots of recs, of course, and [livejournal.com profile] ds_recfinders is good if you're looking for recommedations on specific kinds of fic.

Also yay convert! The power of the LJ icon, lol...

[identity profile] tyhyin.livejournal.com 2010-12-17 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
DEAR LORD I LOVE THIS FANDOM! OMG YES!

Danke uber like for introducing me to the fandom, well showing me the door without the first Ray ('cos no not my cup of Darjeeling). I think that this is like second in my old fandoms, behind M.A.S.H that is (chronological order obviously)

So yeah danke. :D

[identity profile] tyhyin.livejournal.com 2010-12-17 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
.....and by this fandom I mean Due South lol.

:)

[identity profile] ria-oaks.livejournal.com 2010-12-17 07:38 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL glad you're enjoying! It is a fun fandom... I take it you've been watching season 3, then? :) Sorry to hear you don't like Vecchio much, but glad you're enjoying Kowalski... there are a few s1-2 eps that are really worth seeing for backstory and also general awesomeness, though, if you haven't seen them - particularly the last 3 eps of season 1 (the Victoria episodes). :) Anyway, enjoy the fandom! It's a fun shiny place with many many years worth of fic to read...

[identity profile] ani-bester.livejournal.com 2011-01-07 02:43 pm (UTC)(link)
the craftsmanship is great, the scenario adorable and the layouts fantastic. great work!

Too cute! :D :D :D
