Please don't consider yourself limited to these! If I mention a character or situation and you find drawing them isn't working for you, draw one that does work, even if I've not mentioned them! I'd rather receive a picture you enjoyed doing than one you had to force yourself to draw. And I promise: I will love whatever you do. (You certainly can't go wrong with any female character being awesome, and there's nothing wrong with a character sitting for a formal portrait if you can't think of a good pose. :D)

Blade of the Immortal - I love the brother/sister relationship between Manji and Rin. Other favorite characters: Doa and Isaku, Magatsu, Anotsu, Makie, Hyakurin.
Spirited Away - Haku, or Haku and Chihiro

Yu Yu Hakusho - Hiei
