Summary: Ah, X-men, my first fandom obsession. I was really excited about this assignment, and decided to attempt a character that I'd really only had passing familiarity with. Had a lot of fun reading issues with her, trying to get a feel of her personality, and then put her to paper. I hope I did her justice. I tried to keep her age in mind (that of being a mid-late teenager) yet keep with the style of clothing that's been established for her. I'm addicted to short skirts/thigh highs on girls, and figured she'd sport the look nicely :) I hope I've done her justice for you! please overlook any odd anatomy glitches...*cough*

ASDFGSADG"ASDGa3f LOVE. You rock, Mystery Artist! MAN. I can tell that you read up on her because you've got that X-23 "look" down perfectly, all cold and passionless in the face of crazy kooky violence.

I'm glad this got you into reading more of her books! Just hope it wasn't the new X-Force, hah! That series is pretty questionable.

Ohh, I like this. The sparse background looks great with the textured streaks of blood, and the lady is really well drawn. (Her right hand is lovely. Actually, so are her hair and her face and her waist and basically everything, but I particularly like the way you've arranged and drawn her fingers.)

I really like her face- and her hands, which are hard to draw at the best of times, and couldn't have been made easier by the claws. Really cool.

Eeeeee so cool! I love how she is striding towards the viewer with such confidence and almost threatening - particularly with her claws and the swipes of blood - YIKES!! The swing of her hips and skirt, though the image is stationary, is nevertheless extremely mesmerizing. Everything about her screams badass!

OH MY STARS AND GARTERS.

It's been like ten years since I picked up a new X-Men comic, so I only know this character in passing -- but WOW. This is so gorgeous and bad-ass that I almost want to run out and buy some books with her in them! The expression on her face, the pose of her body, the arcs of red -- everything about this is magnificent!

I'm /so/ glad you liked it. I did the thing several times (and in the midst of my darn cat croaking T_T) trying to make sure it was right...or at least close enough for government work.
