OMG this is such a terrific present! :))) Wonderful work - Kudos! (I've always been crap at knitting and I admire everyone who has the patience to do patterns!)

That is so cool! So that's what stitch patterns were used during medieval time. Research is awesome!

Not really in the Merlin fandom, but I like how creative this idea is! Also, knitted goods with a fannish tinge! Something that is always awesome ♥

That is so cool! The design is really pretty, and given my own frustrations with knitting, I always admire people who do such amazing work with it :)

I CAN HAS A BAG!!!!

This is so incredibly awesome. I never expected to get an actual object and this is just so cool! I love the design and colours and that you researched medieval stitch patterns for it. Perhaps I'll have Merlin carry it next time I draw him :)

Oh! I can't wait to get my hands on this, and I'm already thinking of how to put it to good use. Perhaps I'll put my art supplies in it!

Thank you so much, Mystery Artist! This is truly a great present!

WOW! Xenakis, you are crazy lucky! That is a fantastic bag! Mystery Artist of Xenakis, I love the way you took a fanart idea away from the usual representative illustrationg stuff-- this is brilliant!

*jaw drops* Holy crap, that is AMAZING. Did you knit this? It's absolutely beautiful. I've always found fair isle knitting incredibly frustrating, so I'm in total awe of the technical skills needed to create something like this. And it makes for such a neat tie-in to the Merlin fandom! With actual medieval stitch pattens!

You rock, mystery artist. This is one of the coolest Yuletart gifts I've seen yet.

Ahhh, oh my god! Mystery artist, do you take commissions? I'm totally curious about the significance of the symbols, or if they're just period -- I assume those are deer and trees, but are those infinity symbols on the top? Because they are Once and Future?

Oh, wow, that is just gorgeous!

Holy shit, this is fantastic! Such intricate patterns and lovely colours, and just -- such a cool idea.

LKDHFKJFHDJKFHERJE I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SO MUCH. That it's practical and it's useful and it's artistic and it's research and it's a beautiful blend of centuries-old patterns and modern colours OH MAN. THAT'S THE BEST PART OF ALL.

AHAHAH the best part being that your research is probably ten times more than the actual Merlin TV show does, bless it. XD

Oh, wow! That is incredible! I love that you looked up medieval stitch patterns! Brilliant! :D

Very nifty! I don't know if the colors are authentic, but I like 'em. I really dig the little deer thingies.
