Submission Guidelines
important dates
November 23: Deadline for first-time participants' assignments until 12 midnight, Pacific Time
November 30: Deadline for past participants' assignments until 12 midnight, Pacific Time
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
It occurred to the Mods that you people are TOTALLY AWESOME and some have even been handing in your art before the deadline. ♥ And as such - we should make this as easy as possible for you, and provide official Submission Guidelines!
And here they be:
EMAIL TEMPLATE
Email: yuletart@gmail.com
Subject Line: Art for [your recipient's LJ name]
Please provide your art either as an attachment or as a URL where you've uploaded it.
In the body of your email, copy, paste and fill out this submission form:
OTHER INFORMATION
We accept jpegs, pngs and gifs (for animation). If you have any other format, please ask us if it's acceptable.
Please DO NOT sign your work. We will be (tastefully!) watermarking it for the anonymous portion of the fest. Once the reveals are made, you are free to sign and post your art where ever you please.
Please be sure to resize your image, if necessary, to a size that best shows off your work and is easy for the audience to view ( e.g. if there is a very long horizontal scrollbar due to the size of your image, it could be difficult to view).
yuletart will be posting images that are approx. 800px in height and/or length. You are not obligated to resize your own work to fit this size, but for the sake of Mod-posting on
yuletart, all posted art will comply to this size. This will help with consistent watermarking and anonymous-artist security during the fest. The artist is definitely welcome to provide their recipient with a larger (and signed!) version after the Yuletart fest reveals are up.
Any questions, please let us know. Happy art-making!

Hey, not everyone is drawing. :P (j/k... I do appreciate how flexible you guys are in what you'll accept as a submission, and thank you for being so patient with me while I figured out something I could do as a valid submission.)

Between this, exams and NaNoWriMo, how am I ever gonna have spare time for anything else?
(It's worth it though...)
